What Is Cel-Shading?

Cel-Shading is the art of rendering objects to look like cartoons. It is non-photorealistic which makes computer games look hand drawn. Different cartoon effects can be achieved with very little changes to the original source. Cel-Shading is a very powerful form of rendering and the results can change the feel of any game. The outline of a object is normally displayed with a black line which can be bolder than usual to make it look more cartoon effect.
